Guardians of the Children (GOC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization composed of motorcycle enthusiasts dedicated to supporting children who have experienced abuse. Founded in 2006 in the United States, GOC has expanded its presence across North America, including chapters in Canada.
From Victim to Victor – that’s the essence of what Guardians of the Children do.
Mission and Activities
GOC’s mission is to recognize and react to child abuse, educate the public, and provide strength and stability to families in crisis. Members, known for their distinctive biker attire, use motorcycles as tools to empower children, helping them regain confidence and courage.
Key activities include:
- Support and Protection: GOC members, often referred to as „Guardians,” adopt children into their organization as „Little Guardians” after an outcry of abuse. They provide physical and emotional support by escorting children, attending school and social events upon request, and standing as a protective presence to help alleviate fear.
- Educational Outreach: The organization partners with child advocacy agencies, victim assistance groups, and schools to raise awareness about child abuse and bullying. They participate in community events, parades, and educational programs to promote their cause.
- Empowerment Events: GOC organizes annual „Children Empowerment Rides” and private events for Little Guardians, providing safe spaces for fun and socialization. These events aim to help children forget their trauma momentarily and build resilience.
Impact and Recognition
GOC’s unique approach has garnered attention and respect within communities. By providing unwavering support to abused children, they help transform victims into victors, ensuring that children no longer feel alone in their struggles. Their presence in courtrooms and at personal events offers a sense of security and empowerment to the children they support.
Guardians of the Children exemplifies how passion and community involvement can make a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable children. Through their dedication, these motorcycle enthusiasts provide not only protection but also a renewed sense of hope and confidence to children overcoming the challenges of abuse.

Since its inception, GOC has grown to include chapters throughout the United States and Canada. Each chapter operates locally, tailoring its efforts to the specific needs of its community while adhering to the organization’s overarching mission.
